Update: what's been going on in my life for the past few months.

You know that feeling when you snooze your alarm for what you think is 5 minutes until you eventually wake 3 hours later and realise you're late for work? That's a metaphor for my (lack of) blogging schedule over the past couple of months - apologies.

Since finishing my second year at university I honestly feel like I have been non-stop. In between working, going on placement and going away I'm sad to say that I just haven't had the time or energy to blog. I did find this really frustrating as I know how important it is to post regular content. However as much as it annoyed me at the time, I do think that occasionally having a break from blogging is a good idea - my mind needed time to rest and relax. As far as I'm concerned, I would rather take a break and come back refreshed, itching to write all of the blog posts that I have been dreaming up, rather than slog on and become bored with writing and creating new, interesting material for you to read.

And so really, what I'm trying to say, is that I AM BACK (yay!)

Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming recipes (including the recipe on how to make Lotus Biscoff cake), beauty reviews (including Benefit's new brow collection), travel tips, monthly favourites, how-to's, outing reviews (including the Warner Bros Studio Tour) and lots more!

I am so excited about the upcoming posts I have planned - please show them love and comment if you like them - I love hearing your feedback!

I am aiming to post a couple of times each week - all posts will be written with the aim of going live at 5pm :)
